Please give thanks and pray for all the retired priests and our group of four Lay Ministers and other congregation members who have worked tirelessly to keep our benefice pattern of services running smoothly and as regularly as possible during our benefice vacancy. Please thank God for his many blessings to us during this time of Vacancy and we give thanks to our Rural Dean Revd Graeme Anderson for his spiritual care and pastoral support of the Ministry Team. It was very insightful and has been much appreciated. We give thanks for the opportunities to work with the three church schools in our benefice and for the growth of the links between school, church and communities. As we come to the end of our almost two years in vacancy we give thanks to Almighty God for watching over this benefice and helping us to discern His will in the appointment process. Prepare us to receive our new incumbent and to endeavour to support this new family as they make their home within our communities. We pray, too, for renewed energy and commitment in proclaiming the gospel to a world immeasurably changed, yet a world that remains charged with possibility and hope.
